Gavril GPV

The Gavril GPV, or General Purpose Vehicle, is a light weight off-road military vehicle designed and widely used during World War II.  With it's compact size and 4x4 system with transfer case, it is an extremely capable vehicle, capable of handling all but the roughest terrain. It also saw great success in civilian use, being the world's first mass produced 4x4 vehicle for the civilian market.  Its wide success, along with the large amount of surplus available after the war made them very popular for modifications, to either make them more livable, enhance their offroad performance, or even some had V8s swapped in and were made into rat rods.
